Central Florida Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer
I am a lawyer who is dedicated to personal and cost-effective representation for my clients. Whether you have a real estate issue that involves a closing or a commercial landlord/tenant matter, it is my goal to help you reach your overall objectives. At Robert F. Hoogland, P.A., I have worked in Florida residential and commercial real estate law for over twenty-four years.
In addition to possessing a Master's of Business Administration degree, which aids my legal work in complex commercial real estate transactions, I am board certified by the Florida Bar in Real Estate Law
.
The Florida Bar certifies very few attorneys. Certification is the Florida Bar's highest recognition for a real estate attorney. It is based on the attorney's competence and experience in a specific area of the law and requires:
- A minimum of five years in law practice
- A satisfactory showing of substantial involvement in the field of law for which certification is sought
- A passing grade on the examination required of all applicants
- Satisfactory peer review assessment of competence in the specialty field as well as character, ethics and professionalism in the practice of law
- Satisfaction of the certification area's continuing legal education requirements*
Board certified real estate lawyers focus on the following:
"Certified lawyers in real estate law deal with matters relating to real property transactions including, but not limited to real estate conveyances, title searches, property transfers, leases, condominiums and cooperatives, interval ownership, mortgage, zoning and land use planning, real estate development and financing, real estate litigation, and determination of property rights."**
